Watch: Alfa Future People’s Stage is the Creepiest Thing Ever

Creativity when it comes to stage design is always a plus. Electric Daisy Carnival would only be a fraction as awesome if it didn’t have the multiple insane stages. That being said, Alfa Future People‘s latest stage would be fantastic–if it weren’t so creepy.

The 2015 stage wasn’t quite as scary.

Alfa Future People is a festival taking place in Bolshoe Kozino, Russia, from July 22 to 24. While last year’s stage featured a face looking out over the audience, this year they have pushed that to the limit by making a full-blown android.

The top half of the cyborg-like creature juts out from the ground with hands extended. From the looks of it, the DJ booth will rest in its upturned palms.

Alfa Future People also released a video showing the stage being constructed, which ends with an eerie shot of the cyborg’s dead stare.

It will probably look incredible when it is all lit up, but right now, it’s creating some serious heebie-jeebies.

The lineup is thankfully much less scary. Set to perform this year are Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Axwell Ingrosso, Yellow Claw, Dirtcaps, Moksi, Lost Frequencies and more.
