Martin Garrix Denied Entry to Club for Dress Code Violation

You’d think being one of the most famous DJs in the world would excuse you from following dress codes. Nope! Even Martin Garrix falls victim to getting the boot at the door of a club.

Martin Garrix was in Scotland filming his video for “Scared to Be Lonely.” In some downtime, he and the rest of the folks on his team wanted to go out for a night on the town.

Even stars don’t make the cut at some clubs.

“We shot it in Scotland, in Dumfries, and Calvin Harris is from there, so I asked him, ‘Where can I go out in Dumfries?'” Garrix said in an interview with MTV UK. “He was like, ‘Don’t go out there!’ But we found a good spot and we partied so it was good.”

But that was after he already got rejected from one club.

“Oh, and I didn’t get into the first club actually because I was wearing jogging pants, so we went to the place next door,” he said.

Losing Martin Garrix’s business is probably not good for a club. Then again, it just goes to show that no one is above the dress code law. Props to Garrix for not being a diva about it, too!
