After a period of mad scheduling, Kygo was seemingly enjoying some much deserved downtime. However, the Weeknd‘s newest track featuring Daft Punk was enough to lure him into launching some new music.
Kygo’s remix of “Starboy” blends Kygo’s trademark tropical sound seamlessly into the original song. It’s not a huge departure from the original–the tone seems pretty much the same overall. But there’s a bit more of a groove going on that gets your body moving. Plus, the Weeknd’s vocals sound fleshed out and fuller, pulling you into a different space as you listen.
