Kygo Lands SiriusXM Radio Station Just In Time For New Album

Just in time to promote the launch of his new album, Norwegian producer Kygo will be getting his own show on SiriusXM. The program will begin May 9 and run for two weeks, with the new album Cloud Nine launching on May 13.

Cloud Nine will be Kygo’s first studio album. He originally gained international attention with his remix of Ed Sheeran‘s “I See Fire,” but his first single “Firestone” helped him get in touch with the right people. “Firestone” had over 80 million views on YouTube and Soundcloud, which prompted Avicii and Chris Martin to contact the young artist.

The 24-year-old clearly has a bright future ahead of him. So far, he’s worked on collaborations with Rihanna, Ellie Goulding and the Weeknd, to name a few.
