Kygo Documentary ‘Stole the Show’ to be Released on Apple Music

One day you’re making music on your laptop in your bedroom, the next–BAM! You’re traveling the world and partying harder every night than most people do through their entire 20s. DJs live insane lifestyles, so it’s no wonder documentaries about people like Kygo are popping up.

Apple Music released a new trailer today for a documentary called Stole the Show. Focusing on Kygo’s astonishing rise, the doc shows both Kygo’s quiet moments at the piano and his headlining sets.

Back to the piano roots.

The Norwegian producer, whose real name is Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, started gaining attention when he remixed Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire.” From there, the now-25-year-old caught fire himself. Last year, he had his ultimate moment of glory when he became the first house music producer to perform at an Olympics closing ceremony.

Needless to say, you don’t reach that level of fame without hitting a few bumps on the way. Stole the Show will delve into both the good and the bad.

For his part, Kygo is excited to share his story. “Can’t wait for everyone to see what really goes on behind the scenes!” he said in a press release. “It’s exciting showing people the journey that I’ve been on up until this point in my career.”
