Apple Music released a new trailer today for a documentary called Stole the Show. Focusing on Kygo’s astonishing rise, the doc shows both Kygo’s quiet moments at the piano and his headlining sets.
The Norwegian producer, whose real name is Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, started gaining attention when he remixed Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire.” From there, the now-25-year-old caught fire himself. Last year, he had his ultimate moment of glory when he became the first house music producer to perform at an Olympics closing ceremony.
Needless to say, you don’t reach that level of fame without hitting a few bumps on the way. Stole the Show will delve into both the good and the bad.
For his part, Kygo is excited to share his story. “Can’t wait for everyone to see what really goes on behind the scenes!” he said in a press release. “It’s exciting showing people the journey that I’ve been on up until this point in my career.”
Even if you’re not a fan of Kygo (who are you??), there are a couple other artists dropping by the documentary that you’ll want to check out. The trailer features clips from Martin Garrix, Bono and Steve Aoki.
Stole the Show debuts exclusively on Apple Music on July 26, 2017.
