Another year of Coachella came to an end on Sunday, with both weekends of the festival as successful as ever. EDM took this year’s festival by storm with epic sets from Alesso, DJ Snake, and Dirty South in the Sahara Tent. But, 44-year-old American DJ Kaskade took epic to a whole new level.
Sharing the main stage with headliners Drake, ACDC and Jack White, Kaskade played his biggest crowd yet. The DJ drew two of Coachella’s largest crowds (both weekends) for a solo artist in the festival’s history.
Over the past few days, aerial photos of the incredible crowds during both closing Sundays have been circling the internet. “My eyeballs popped out and my jaw dropped” claimed Kaskade, when he saw the amount of listeners both sets drew. It’s clear that EDM was more popular than ever before in Indio, California this year.
