“Releasing these seven tracks is my way of saying thank you for the ongoing support from my fans,” Martin Garrix said. “I can’t say it enough; I wouldn’t be where I am today without you guys. Hope you’ll enjoy each and every track that will be uploaded the coming seven days.”
Because of all the amazing support you have given me this year I wanted to do something back 🙂 Releasing 7 songs in the next 7 days ????????❤️ pic.twitter.com/6XUITejFkW

Even more cool is that he’ll be teaming up with seven different visual artists who will be painting live interpretations of the songs for YouTube videos. According to Billboard, each design will become the official artwork for the song it was created for.
Apparently the tracks will be things that Martin Garrix plays at his live sets and are popular requests. According to some Reddit users on r/EDM, these are the confirmed releases so far:
October 15: Wiee (with Mesto)
October 18: Hold On and Believe (with The Federal Empire)
October 19: Welcome (with Julian Jordan)
October 20: Together (with Matisse & Sadko)
October 21: Make Up Your Mind (with Florian Picasso)
Some have speculated that the build-up is confirmation that Martin Garrix is going to be named DJ Magazine’s top DJ of the year, which is scheduled to be revealed on October 19, 2016, with a celebration party on October 22.
However, Martin Garrix has previously said that as far as he knows, he’s not the number one DJ of the year. We can keep hoping though, right? Given everything he’s done this year, it wouldn’t be too surprising if he landed the number one spot. Plus, he simply said he didn’t know, not that he absolutely wasn’t the winner.
We’ll find out soon enough!
