Imagine Festival Seals TomorrowWorld’s Fate by Taking over Dates

We already knew TomorrowWorld was having some issues (it tragically didn’t take place in 2016), but we were all desperately hoping it would swing around for a comeback in 2017. Unfortunately, it’s looking like that isn’t going to happen. Imagine Music Festival has just booked up TomorrowWorld’s usual dates in Atlanta.

Imagine Music Festival takes over.

As you know, TomorrowWorld usually takes place in Atlanta towards the end of September, while Imagine Festival usually takes place in the same location at the end of August. There’s now a new announcement trailer for 2017’s Imagine Festival, and the part that caught everybody off guard was the dates listed.

There, amidst all the flames and booty shorts, were the dates “September 22-24” listed at the end of the video. These are the exact dates TomorrowWorld would have been held had it returned in 2017. Yikes.

There’s definitely no shot of the two festivals being held on the same weekend in the same city, so we can only hope that TomorrowWorld will be changing dates for the coming year. Otherwise, it’s looking like the chances of it returning are slim to none.
