Hardwell Launches Charity Foundation; Attempts World Record For “Biggest Guest List”

Dutch house producer Hardwell is on a mission to break the Guinness World Record for “Biggest Guest List” at the launch show for his new charity, the United We Are Foundation– named after his debut LP. This show will take place on December 13th in Mumbai, India and will be India’s first larger electronic dance music event! Hardwell is also granting fans free entry via his personal guest list! His goal is 100,000 fans- will you be one of them?

Most importantly, Hardwell will not be collecting a standard booking fee and all proceeds from the event will go toward the United We Are Foundation, which will help provide education for children in India and across the globe, and United Welfare Trust, India’s leading trust for social cause awareness located in India. Founded and run by Shailendra Singh, United Welfare Trust will partner with Hardwell and Anna Agency, an international electronic music agency, to bring children out of poverty by providing them with more access to education. “[The United We Are Foundation]…is a globally ambitious endeavor to educate young children in different communities around the world”, said Anna Knaup, CEO of Anna Agency.

hardwell-edm in stereoIndia continues to remain special for Hardwell. Since he headlined at Sunburn Festival in Goa, India, where he performed his famed I AM Hardwell world tour concept to cities in India, Hardwell has had a special place in his heart for India. Shailendra Singh, of United Welfare Trust, said of the project, “Dance music has the power to make a social difference. By partnering the United We Are Foundation with United Welfare Trust in India, we will be able to take thousands of India’s most in need children all the way from childhood to livelihood. This movement will start in India and explode further around the world”. How great is that?

“Dance music has no gender, class or creeds,” Hardwell says in the United We Are Foundation video. “Whenever I’ve performed in India, I’ve been overwhelmed with the amount of love from the Indian fans. Their passion, their energy – it makes me grateful that I’m able to do what I love every single day. So I thought it was time to give something back.” Hardwell has definitely brought the PLUR back into the EDM scene!

  1. Hey! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My weblog looks weird when browsing from my iphone4. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to correct this problem. If you have any suggestions, please share. With thanks!|
