Headlining the music fest will be Bassnectar, STS9 and Dillon Francis. Other confirmed artists include Tycho, Lettuce, Juicy J, Lil Dicky, Goldfish, Jai Wolf and Big Wild.
Bassnectar will be following his stint at Euphoria with a string of other festivals, including Electric Forest in Michigan and Electric Zoo in New York.
In the full spirit of PLUR, Euphoria will also be offering some mindful relaxation experiences. Mediation and yoga will be available daily, with 10:00 a.m. sessions restricted to campers and 12:00 p.m. sessions open to all festival attendees.
Additional workshops will be available with themes like overcoming anxiety and increasing chi with Tesla Energy Lights. Those who crave to be part of the performances themselves can attend a suitcase music class or even a stilt walking workshop.
Anyone worried about the damage festivals can have on the environment can rest soundly in their tent knowing that this year Euphoria will also be launching a green initiative called “Ecophoria.” The campsite will be offering free water refill stations and plenty of recycling and compost bins as well as sponsoring river cleanups.
Just in case you’re prone to getting lost on the way to your meditation sessions, Euphoria created this nifty map (left) that looks straight out of an old Nintendo game. We don’t recommend bringing a sword or bow and arrows to the festival, though sunblock is a must.
