Electronic Artists Pay Tribute to Chris Cornell after Suicide

Musician Chris Cornell may not have been an EDM artist, but his influence spanned across genres. Earlier this week, the Soundgarden frontman was found dead in a Detroit hotel room. Right now, cops are saying his death was most likely a suicide. He was just 52 years old.

Chris Cornell had success as both a solo artist and part of various bands.

Cornell and Soundgarden maximized the 1990s grunge movement. The band had aggressive music along with heartfelt lyrics. Despite being more alternative, they hit the mainstream in a big way. Even after Soundgarden went on a hiatus, Cornell never stopped making music. It’s not surprising in the slightest that he had a huge influence on many modern musicians.
