Dillon Francis Schools Real-Life Hater Danny Dawson In Facebook Beatdown

If there’s one thing EDM pros like Dillon Francis know how to do (besides making music, of course), it’s how to take down their haters on social media.

Francis shared a photo of himself with the hosts of the reality show Ridiculousness, which he is scheduled to appear on in the next season, on Facebook:

A “fan” named Danny Dawson left a message on the photo, saying that Francis is a sellout and that his music is “shit.”

The beauty of celebrities using social media, however, is that they can actually respond to haters. Francis responded to Dawson, saying “Look up the word sellout…I have never once done anything I have never wanted to do thus I cannot be a sellout.”

Francis also clarified that he had never claimed that he didn’t want to be on television or only stick with one style of music. He made some really valid points as he explained to Dawson that to expect artists to stick with one style of music for the rest of their careers is ridiculous.

Take a look at his full commentary:

Oddly enough, the commenter has the same name as a character Dillon Francis portrays on his pseudo-reality YouTube program “DJ World.” This is the same guy who says, “I like Afrojack, not because of his music but because his name ends with jack and I love to jack off.”
