Francis previewed a bit of their plans on Snapchat back in December along with a brief clip, but “Need You” is now available in its full, glorious form.
The song is moombahton style, which Francis has already shown an affinity for. For those who aren’t familiar, it’s a fusion genre that mashes up house music and reggaeton.
It’s a fairly recent development, with producer Dave Nada being credited with inventing the style in 2009. He even came up with the name–“moombah” comes from the name of a track by Silvio Ecomo, and “ton” naturally coming from the word raggaeton.Read more to listen to “Need You”:
