Over the past weekend, the 9th annual HARD Summer Music Festival took place in Pomona, California. In addition to the 325 people that were arrested, three additional people died, according to YourEDM.com. Authorities believe the heat may have contributed to their deaths, but they are still awaiting a coroner’s report.
The three people who were killed are Derek Lee (22), Alyssa Dominguez (21) and Roxanne Ngo (22). All three died at different hospitals after being removed from the festival.
The organizers of the event posted on Facebook about the tragedy. “We are deeply saddened to learn about the deaths of three people who attended the festival this weekend. While the causes of the deaths have not yet been determined, we ask everyone to keep them in their prayers,” they wrote. “Our sincerest thoughts and condolences are with their family and friends.”Read more to hear about the lawsuit against Live Nation:
